Our History

The founder and director of QS4QS, Mr. Munas, is a distinguished dual practitioner, excelling in both academia and the field of Quantity Surveying. Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Munas has amassed significant professional experience across the UAE, Qatar, Oman, and Sri Lanka, collaborating with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors. Mr. Munas has contributed his expertise to a wide array of projects, including airports, metros, large-scale buildings, roads, infrastructure, and man-made islands, collectively valued at billions of dollars. His extensive exposure to diverse employers has given him a profound understanding of each role’s unique responsibilities and challenges. Mr. Munas’ academic journey has produced thousands of Quantity Surveyors from certificate to degree level and successfully mentored hundreds of RICS APC candidates in achieving their Chartered Membership (MRICS).

2006

In 2006, Mr. Munas offered a Quantity Surveying program in collaboration with City & Guilds UK.

2012

In 2012, Mr. Munas joined the faculty of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) in the Sultanate of Oman. UTAS is the largest public higher education institution in Oman. As a lecturer for the Civil Engineering Department, he delivered specialised courses in Construction Measurement.

2012-2018

Between 2012 and 2018, Mr. Munas was affiliated with the Sri Lankan and Qatar campuses of the British College of Applied Studies (BCAS Campus). He served as a Senior Quantity Surveying Lecturer and course coordinator, offering QS programs in collaboration with Pearson UK (HND in QS) and the University of Wolverhampton UK (BSc QS)

2018

In 2018, Mr. Munas founded Quantity Surveyor for Quantity Surveyors (QS4QS) in the UAE. He began offering virtual coaching programs to prepare aspiring MRICS candidates for their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). To date, he has successfully guided over 100 MRICS candidates and has set an ambitious goal of reaching 1,000 by 2025.

2019

In 2019, QS4QS started offering stand-alone courses from the UAE, including Advanced Quantity Surveying Practice & Contracts Management (AQS&CM), Advanced MEP QS, Advanced Measurement and Construction Technology (MCT), Construction Claim Expert (CCE), and Contracts Management (CM).

2021

In 2021, QS4QS expanded operations to Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan office is now registered under the Tertiary Vocational Educational Commission of Sri Lanka and authorised to issue QS certificates.

2022

In 2022, QS4QS achieved the prestigious status of becoming an RICS Regulated firm.

2025

In 2025 QS4QS Launched the Integrated Quantity Surveying Training

This innovative initiative marks a historic moment in quantity surveying training. Candidates will acquire comprehensive knowledge, skills, and experience from FRICS mentors who have successfully managed billion-dollar projects in the Gulf region.
